I bought 3 items from ebay.

There is a cafe inside the pub and they sell Ramen.

Cook + Phillip Park Aquatic & Fitness Centre

I go to "Cook + Phillip Park Aquatic & Fitness Centre" once a week for swimming & Jacuzzi recently.
That's because of my back pain.

I went there yesterday morning but the Jacuzzi was used for Baby Swimming Class..
So I just had a swimming only.

A staff said this class takes place from 8:30 to 12:30 everyday. I hadn't know that.

I should go there afternoon from next time.

When I was just going into a hardware store today, the lady standing by the door (she was a clerk) suddenly said something like "Go to Hell".
I was a little bit surprised and I haven't believe my ears even now.
That was definitely different from "go ahead".

My English listening is terrible but..

Are there any similar words in that situation!?

LogMeIn - Remote access software

LogMeIn let us be able to access computers from anywhere even if it's from oversea.
It's totally free and easy setup.

After setting up, just login with email address and password.

Choose the computer you want to access and click "Remote Control".

You need to enter the password again but this password is different from the LogMeIn password.
It means it's the password for each computer.

Ta-dah!!

I'm Mac User at home but I can access my windows computer that located at my workplace!

I don't wanna work at home but.. this must be the fantastic software.

Coles Express Car Wash

I tried the Coles Express Car Wash first time.
That was so much easier than washing by myself.
Only spent $12 dollars for 2 time wahing ticket that is valid for 60 days.
60 days is enough for me because my car always gets dirty so quickly.

But everyone comes on Sat & Sun there. I had to wait about 30 munites.
To prevent jam, I should go there on weekdays from next time.

Yesterday, I fonnd an used furniture shop in Woollahra.

Just stacking old furnitures each room of the house. Looks like junk shop.

Woollahra is a sort of high-class residential area, so I was a little bit surprised that this kind of shop is existing in this place.

I found a kid's desk and a small step ladder at the second room.

Those were just right size for our PC desk and amazingly cheap!

The desk was $25 and the ladder was $20!

Needless to say, I bought them.

Kid's size is just right for our small room.

We got some food at Buzy Bakehouse in Woollahra

and went to Centinnial Park for a picnic.

I bought iPad 2 for Kayo's birthday present.

First, I try to get this at the Apple Store in Bondi Junction the day iPad 2 is launched in Australia.

But it was too late.

As soon as I lined up, the white color one had been sold out.

Then I decided to order this online.

It took almost a month.

Of course, Kayo's birthday has already past.

But finally!

I have some experience of fishing when I was around 10 years old.

I started fishing again just because I wanna eat really fresh fishes.

I wanted to go here because everytime I passed by this restaurant, there was full of people even though it's rain day.

If you are the Firefox user. This add on is very useful for helping you to learn English pronunciation. It make your firefox possible to read text and sentence.

The voice is a little bit awkward espetially when it read out the apostrophe " ' " part.
It pronaunce "don't" as "don tee", haha

But I think it's no problem for people that use English as a second language like me.

My MacBook came back

I saw the following article from Lifehacker Australia a few weeks ago when I was just browsing some news with Google Reader.

And I realized that my MacBook had exactly same problem.
Then I found a support page saying about this issue on Apple website.

It says,

A flashing question mark appears on screen when the MacBook is turned on.

Affected MacBook models
13-inch black and white MacBook models with the following processor speeds and hard drive capacities:

Processor speed - 1.83GHz, 2GHz, or 2.16GHz

My MacBook is 13-inch white one, 2.16GHz, 120GB. It was applicable.

So I decided to bring my MacBook to an authorised service provider near my town.

After waiting a few days, it have been completely fixed.

I'm so glad my MacBook is repaired without paying any fee.

Time Capsule

I bought Apple's Time Capsule last weekend and it's awesome.

It took 2days and half for the first backup.

But once the first backup was complete, it automatically backup only files that have changed since the previous backup. So it doesn't take a long time after that.

The best thing is backing up wirelessly. I don't need to connect this Time Capsule to my Mac.

As I said before, I don't like messy wires.

There had already been a small pot installed at the window when we moved in this room.

But this spot gets the sunlight only in the early morning. After that just in the shade.

This application make it easy to upload photos to the Facebook.

Just select your photos that you wanna upload on your application window of picasa.

Macbook to iMac

Last month, my macbook had broken once. We'd used it for only about 2 years, though..

When I started up the macbook, it always didn't load the internal hard disk drive like this.

Then I replaced the hard disk. It seemed to be fixed!

But another 1 or 2 weeks later, it broke again...

So, I bought an iMaaaaaaac!!

Yes. I've been just happy since I bought it.

The keyboard and mouse are wireless. They are convenient to use.
And the power cord is connected from behind of monitor. So it looks like there are no cords around it.
I don't have to worry about messy wires anymore.

Yesterday, I went to Westfield as always. I had a plan cooking a green curry for dinner. So I got a coconut milk at woolworth.

The coconut milk I got yesterday was not usual.
Normally, I choose a canned coconut milk but I chose the powdered one this time.

The powdered coconut milk is good because I can use any time. I don't have to worry about spoiling.

As a result, the taste was good but coconut milk was a little bit deposited.

My wife Kayo's friend Kerri & her boyfriend Sunny went back to Korea.
Kayo met Kerri for the first time at her language school.
They have a lot in common. Same age, same major, same previous job and their partner Sunny and me have also same job!
So Kerri was the best friend of Kayo in Australia.

My car is a black Honda's "Jazz". In Japan, it is called "Fit"
I bought this car in last November. I have not pay off the repayment yet.

On last Saturday, the lock in the front passenger seat had been broken and that door never open.
It must be a defective car!!
Fortunately, I have a 5 years warranty. Maybe I don't have to pay for it.

After I stoped worrying about that, I got another problem yesterday..
There are a few scratchs on the right hand surface of my car. Oh my God!!

I park my car on the street everyday. It is the parallel park. So... I think someone hit my car and then they ran away.. Fuck!!

Dumpling & Fire!!

We cooked Dumplings the day before yesterday.
When we were just about to eat them, the siren reached our ears.
"What happened?" I looked out of the window.
That was fire engine. Then I went outside to look where the fire was.

Oh my God! That was our apartment opposite side of our room!

Fortunately, the fire was small and firefighters quenched it easily.
We were glad that was not serious case!

Needless to say, we ate cold dumplings later..

Last.fm is known as an internet radio and music community website.
You can listen your favorite artists, tracks and albums with its similar artists' songs.

Once you register Last.fm, you can make your own playlist that can be embedded some websites like myspace, facebook, and Blogger and so forth.

A Very Very Happy New Year!

I've got internet connection at home early in the new year. Now, I can surf websites easily. Yes!

So...
A brand-new year has begun!
My wife and I went to near the Harbor Bridge and the Opera House to see the new year's fireworks on New Year's Eve
There were many people there. When we get there, the space were almost full because we went there about 4pm. It was too late.

BUT! Luckily, we found a narrow empty space nearby a barrier. The scene from there was very nice!

About 8 hours later, the fireworks had started. As you can see at the top of this page, that was soooooo great! I'd heard that this year's fireworks would be greater than ever before, but I hadn't expected THAT scale! Good job Sydney!

Newtown Festival

We went to Newtown Festival today.
It's the biggest annual festival in Sydney. There are lots of stands and music stages.
I saw the cool funk music band there.

I ate Himalayan food. The taste was not too bad. But the chicken (red one) didn't have much taste.
Kayo chose Spanish paella. I don't like mussel because it makes me diarrhea. It is no good for my stomach actually.
We also ate German hot dog. It was yammy.

And I found Sushi Train near the Newtown station on my way home.
I would like to go there next time.

Inspection in Maroubra

Kayo and I went to Maroubra for an inspection today.
Inspection here means to have a look at the room before we make an agreement with a real-estate company.
In Sydney, house rent has been rising. So, it has been harder to get a cheaper apartment.
Actually, there were many people at this inspection. They were like a tourist!

After that, we went to city for having some lunch. we ate tsuke-men and misonegi-ramen at Menya. Look at this volume.
Needless to say, we ate too much.

Buying a new car

My wife and I got a fish 'n' chips and a chicken roll at a shop in Surry Hills this afternoon.
And then we went to Moore Park for a picnic.

After we have eaten a lunch, suddenly, we decided to go to look for a new car.

The car shop we went is "Larke Hoskins Honda" in Roseberry.
We were thinking that we would just have a look and think of it, But..
We had taken a car as it turned out because we got the better deal than we expected!
The car is Honda Jazz Automatic, color is black.
The dealer said that the car is coming next week. So, I'm really looking forward to seeing it!

I've been to Sydney 2 times. But this time, the purpose of my visit is different from previous 2 times visiting.
I'm going there for business. So it is expected that I will stay in Sydney at least for about 4 years.

Just days after I came back from Gunma, I traveled to Nasu with my wife.
Nasu is located about 50 minutes by car from our house but we had not gone there often.

We bunk down at a pension which name is "BE".

We ate some croissants for breakfast. It was the most delicious croissants in my life!

I went to Gunma to meet my friends from uni. And we used this opportunity to travel to Kusatsu Onsen.
Kusatsu Onsen is one of Japan's most famous hot spring resort.

This Photo was taken at Yubatake.
"Yubatake" means "Hot water field" and it is the symbol of Kusatsu.

There were many shops along streets. We tried some buns and green tea.
It tasted good!

After we went back to our friend's house, we set off fireworks.

It was great trip! Thank you Shunsuke, Eishiro, Sumine!

To get this laptop computer, I spend a lot of time wondering.
Previously, I was a Windows guy, but I've been interested in Mac.
If I get Windows Vista, I can run Windows on Mac. This point made me decide to buy Mac.
I added more memory, so processing speed is fast.

Having a wedding ceremony

I had a wedding ceremony recently at St Mary Waverley church in Sydney. We invited only our families and friends living in Sydney.
When we sent our families and friend out of the church, I was overwhelmed with gratitude and cried more than my wife...
It was a fantastic, emotional wedding.

"New Music Aikokai"

I will graduate the university on 24th March. After we'll finish the graduation ceremony, at night, I'm going to have a graduation party with members of music club which I belonged. I'm really looking forward to going to the party!
Speaking of our music club, that name is "New Music Aikokai". The "Aikokai" means a sort of club or circle. We had a small concert on 18th March. It was fantastic live including Funk, Rock, Pops and Jazz! I played 4 songs of Jack Johnson's music. "Belle", "Taylor", "rodeo clowns" and "Inaudible melodies". I got nervous as always but I enjoyed it. In the live, there is the band called "Urban" that is made up of my friends. They played their original funk music. It was smashing! They have good taste! I really envy them.

Hello! Hello!
I had done the presentation at loooooooooooong last! I got a little bit nervous but it was okay. Now I just have to write it down as my guraduation thesis! Maybe, I will make it done in 2 days or so. After we finished the presentation yesterday, we had a party and went to Karaoke. We enjoyed ourselves by singing songs. Someone who is normally reticent person got so high! I know it is too late but I say, Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year everyone!
Speaking of my Xmas, My girlfriend came to my home at Xmas time and we had some small party, eating dinner, drinking and talking.

In the New Year, My girlfriend had already gone back to her hometown but we ate some Japanese traditional dishes.

I am busy for doing my graduation thesis which is about the compounds of Silicon in the plant root. And the presentation of my graduation thesis is scheduled at 13 February. So I have to make it done until then. I feel pressed because I don't have enough data to write it actually.. So I have to experiment more.

Come to think of it, I participated in the marathon today. It was called "Nanohana-marathon" and it took place at Ibusuki city in Kagoshima. Nanohana means rape blossoms. There are many rape blossoms in Ibusuki.
I ran the whole distance. The time was 4 hour and 52 minutes. Now, I cannot walk all right because of the terrible pain in my leg.. But I'm glad that was over.

Work Experiences

It has been a long time since I wrote the last posting.
I have been kept busy doing my graduation thesis, part-time job, year-end party and so forth.
About my part-time job, my work place had changed to K's Denki which is also an electrical store in my home town. There were more customer than Deo Deo. Therefore, there were more works to do. It's good for me to do a lot of work because I think I should gain my experience till I enter employment. Anyway, I have many things to do. I have to brace myself up!

I had a small concert yesterday. I tried to play just like Jack Johnson but that was not Jack Johnson actually, ha-ha!
Anyway, I'm glad that was over! I'll try another song next time.

Giving a Performance

I decided to give a performance at the coffee house on Saturday.
I'll play "Inaudible melodies" and "Taylor" by Jack Johnson.
I'm getting a little nervous, but I believe I can make it!

One day, when I went to a shopping center near my town, I found "VB" which is a beer made in Australia! I felt a longing for it. I used to drink it after finishing my part-time-job in Sydney!

Almost every morning, I do radio gymnastic exercises, and then take the dog for a walk. After we've got home, I go for a jogging.

The radio gymnastic exercises are light and simple gymnastics to train muscles and to warm up. Regardless of age, people can do it to music and instructions from radio. It is called "Radio Taiso" in Japan.

Because it is raining outside, I cannot do some of these routine today. Hmm.. boring..

TOEFL Podcast

As I posted the other day, I listen ESL Podcast everyday. This program is provided by Center for Educational Development, in Los Angeles. Yesterday, they announced that they had started a new program. That is called "TOEFL Podcast". The TOEFL stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language which is the examination given in the United States to international students, and in other countries to test English ability for studying at the university.
There are 3 episodes of the TOEFL Podcast which is available now. That is updated once a week.
I've already subscribed it in my iTunes. Now, I need to study more!

Taking a trip to Mt.Aso and Kurokawa

I have taken a trip with my girl friend and her family for 4 days.
We went to Mt.Aso and Kurokawa where is the most famous hot-spring area in Japan.
We ate local dishes and took a hot spring bath at Yamamizuki, Japanese guest house, we also could see beautiful stream from there.
I met a foreign tourist then. I ventured to talk him in English. I couldn't speak English well but we had a little conversation. He is from Switzerland. He had been to Tokyo on his vacation and then visited Kurokawa.

We went Daikanbo of Mt.Aso on the second day but we couldn't see at all because of thick fog:-(
So we went there another day.
Fortunately, it was blessed with fine weather on the third day. The view of Mt.Aso was so beautiful! As you probably know, the size of Mt.Aso's caldera is number one in the world.

We had a great time on this trip:-)

The Cat Empire

I like music. I listen to music every day. The CD which I listened this afternoon is "The Cat Empire". Blending hip-hop, reggae, jazz and Latin music. It is produced by Australian band, The Cat Empire. I saw their live at the Jazz Festival 2004 in Sydney Darling Habour when I had been in Sydney last year. Their music is awesome:-)

Taking a trip to Tochigi

I went to Tochigi to meet my girl friend last week. Tochigi is located in the north part of Tokyo. This place is rural area just like my home town ha-ha:-) There are many kinds of fruits, crop plants. I like Tochigi!

iPod shuffle

I was using homogenizer which is a machine for homogenizing a plant, today. Becouse my major is Plant Nutrition and Fertilizers. This work was too boring! So, I was listening to Podcast with my iPod shuffle while I was using homogenizer.
I'm into "English as a Second Language" which is a program of Podcast recently. It's good lessons for me to improve my listening ability.
And iPod is a very good player for listening music and so on. I use iPod shuffle everyday. I love it!

My objective

I have a problem. I sometimes get nervous when I do something in front of people. I really think that I wanna conquer my stage fright.
To get over this, maybe I should gather experience. It is necessary to be used to doing something in front of people. Then, I decide to play a guitar and to sing a song in public.
Fortunately, there is a coffee house that give a small concert at 18:00-21:00 every Saturday. Anyway, I have to practice singing and playing guitar first.
